Wipster Version 0.7 "Jean-Luc" has arrived!

Greetings Wipsters, today we're pretty excited to let loose a brand new shiny version of Wipster. We're calling this one Jean-Luc (five free storage minutes if you can pick the namesake).

Without a doubt the big headliner for "Jean-Luc" is our new version-control system. You can now upload the newest version of your video right on top of the old one, keeping all the comments and to-dos for all the versions in one tidy thumbnail on the project page. Once that's done you can use the super-simple switcher to move back and forth through your versions. This means you can use Wipster to track the history of your project from the very first iteration right up to final sign-off. It just makes things that much more simple (we really like  simple).

Speaking of simple, you can now instantly buy more storage minutes from right within Wipster, hassle free. Click the 'Get more' button on the top right of your screen and follow the link to PayPal. Right now, while Wipster is in Beta, we're offering an exclusive deal for our early users, 100 USD for a year's subscription with a massive 10 hours of storage. The prices will be going up as we build in more features, so it's a good idea to get in for a year's worth now.

We've also been busily working our way through the app trying to iron out all the niggly bugs that our users take the time to point out to us. On that topic, be sure to get in touch if you have suggestions on things we can do to make Wipster better for you. This is a huge driver of ideas and inspiration for us, so really, let us know what you think. We're pretty friendly. You can get us through all the normal channels, like us on Facebook, or follow us on Twitter, but you may not have noticed we actually have a direct line right inside Wipster - the green intercom button that sits in the bottom right of the screen. Clicking this handy little button will get you a direct line to Wipster HQ, which we'll respond to soon as we can.

There's many more features to check out in Version 0.7, but the best way to find out about them is to dive right in and check them out. If you haven't signed up to Wipster already, get to it! If you're reading this you're only a few clicks a way from a whole new way to share and review videos online, and your first ten minutes are free.

See you on Wipster,
The Wipster Team.

PS: Jean-Luc has nothing to do with Star Trek...
