Wipster Launches New Storage Based Plans

Hi Wipster family, we’ve got a pretty big update for you! But first, let’s watch the video below.

Earlier this year we wanted to change the pricing. There were a few reasons why, but one was that we wanted to make it as simple as possible for you to get work done on Wipster. That's how “per-asset pricing” appeared, it sounded pretty simple as you could just add $5 to the budget for every video you were making.

For some of you, this pricing model worked, but for many of you our per-asset pricing removed the joy of Wipster and created friction in your workflow. 

We believe that honest feedback is integral to successful outcomes (that's what Wipster is all about after all!) and over the last few months lots of you gave us feedback that we reflected on and considered.  

We’ve been working hard to make things right and deliver a pricing structure that allows you flexibility, freedom and brings back the joy to your videomaking. Today we launch our storage based pricing plans.

The names are the same, the features are the same, but check out those storage options! Consider your new storage plan the fanciest of buckets — whatever asset you need to upload (video, image or multi-page PDF), just drop it into your Wipster and get straight to work.

All plans include unlimited team members, unlimited reviewers, all our publishing integrations (Wistia, Vimeo Pro, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube), our Slack and Adobe Creative Cloud integrations, iOS and Android apps, and image and multi-page PDF review.

No restrictions to your team or collaborators, no restrictions to the number of projects — whatever you can fit into your fancy Wipster storage bucket is available for the taking.

You can pay monthly or annual — and our annual pricing has two months free.

Our new storage based plans are available for all our customers today, just login, head to your account settings, and click into the Upgrade tab. You can then view your subscription usage in the Usage tab (who would’ve thought!).

Q: What’s happening to the per-asset plans?

A: If you’re currently on a per-asset plan there’s no immediate rush to change over to our storage plans  —  you can stay on your existing per-asset plan until 30 March 2018. We’ll be in touch well before then to help the transition over.

Q: Are you still doing add-ons?

A: Add-ons are still available under our per-asset plan. We have no plans at this stage to do an add-on service for storage, but if you have any ideas/feedback for this feel free to email us your thoughts at support@wipster.io.

Q: I’m a current customer and want to change from per-asset to storage plans straight away. How does that work?

A: Head to your Account Settings and select the Upgrade tab. When you choose your storage plan your billing will be pro-rated accordingly if you stick to the same billing frequency (from monthly per-asset to monthly storage, annual to annual).

Q: I’m on an enterprise plan, what changes for me?

A: There are no changes for you as your team has a plan specifically catered to your company’s needs. If you’d like to chat feel free to contact your assigned account manager.

Q: I want a storage amount higher than 500GB. How do I arrange this?

A: Contact our sales team, we can chat about your needs and get you sorted!

Q: Storage pricing suits me and I want in! How do I sign up as a new/old customer?

A: Head to our pricing page and select your preferred storage plan. Enter your details and voila, you’re away!

Q: What about the terms of service?

A: As a result of the new storage based pricing plans, we’ve updated our Terms of Service. Your continued use of Wipster means you agree to these revised terms, so please take a few minutes to read and understand them.
