Emoji support, team ‘mentioning’ and a whole new way to share new versions
We’ve been spending a lot of time lately thinking about power features that help teams get their work done faster and smarter. There are a heap of new toys to play with on Wipster; here’s a rundown of a few of our favorites.
Inviting reviewers from a previous version
When you share anything beyond the first version, Wipster will ask if you'd like to add the people who reviewed the last version. Clicking this button will auto-populate the contacts box with those reviewers Wipster has an email address for. You can fine-tune this list before sending, adding new people and taking away those that you’ve heard enough from.
We’ll also list the names of any reviewers who viewed the earlier version via a public link so you can add them manually. It’s a super-simple system that will save crucial moments when rapid-fire iterations of your work are going out.
‘Mentioning’ team members
When a big project is in motion, sometimes getting your team’s attention can be tough. Wipster now lets you mention team members in a comment by using @ followed by their name, or by clicking the @ icon below the comment input field, then selecting the person. The tagged team member will be notified by email immediately. It’s ideal for assigning tasks or kickstarting a conversation.
Okay, this one probably isn’t going to speed up your review process all that much, but we can all agree that there are very few conversations in the world that can't be improved by a well-placed emoji. They’re totally like words but really, so much better. So, we constructed the Wipstermoji 2000™ to bring the full power of the emoji suite to Wipster. We like this feature so much we even made a short film on the subject, check it out below
